" BLOOD TORRENT was founded back in the year of 2005 by H.A.V.O.C.(Vocals/Guitar) and RAPE(Drums) in Schwäbisch Gmünd(not far from Stuttgart). The line-up changed really fast, when Stefan entered the drums, RAPE changed over to the guitar and H.A.V.O.C. additionally played the Bass-Parts. Just a few months after he entered the band, Stefan split up and AEON(Drums 2005-2008) was set as the new drummer. In 2006 EREBOS#14 was invited to a few rehearsal-sessions and because of the good work they made together, it was the only consequence that EREBOS#14 became the new guitar-player. After they finally had a complete line-up now, the Band wrote many earth shaddering songs that will blow your mind. RAPE split up in 2006 because of musical differences, but BLOOD TORRENT kept on with the creative songwriting. In 2007 JAZARIEL(Bass since 2007/also active in the Death Metal-Formation Algoris Mortem) take his place in BLOOD TORRENT as the new base-player. One year later, the time was ripe to enter the stage for the first time, and that together with huge names of the scene like Dark Fortress and Helheim. Sadly was the split up of AEON, because he was a fundamental and important member of the band for a very long time. But the other guys were more than happy, as GRANDUR(mainly active in the Band Creature) decided to help the Band as a Session-Drummer. Gigs with great Bands like Taake and Eisregen for example were the wage of the hard work. Meanwhile GRANDUR is a full-time-member of the band and in addition with GEYST (Guitar) the formation is complete and ready to smash your mind."
