"Extreme Attack is a band formed in April 2011 in Quito Ecuador, with the clear aim of resuming the classic sound of old school thrash metal. The band starts with Patricio Viveros on vocals and bass, and Renata Pacheco on guitars, after the dissolution of their previous band "Metal Slave," which was founded a year ago. Later, Andree Aguilar was admitted as a drumer, in April the same year the band decided to record their debut EP entitled "Assassin", which contains three songs: Assassin, Hell's Priests and Hell Is Your Destiny, which has had great welcomed by the public of Quito and Ecuador, and creating expectations in several foreign countries, showing the great musical understanding between members of the band. At the same time, they begin their live shows having the same great reception from the public. The band has visited several Ecuadorian cities, and there are more cities which require Extrem Attack´s shows. At November 2011 the band had their first show abroad, in Popayan Colombia, where were invited to share stage with representative bands from this city and being with Mourtoria (Mexico) the principal bands of the show. Extreme Attack is currently recording the first full length which is going to be released on mid-2012. At the same time, their first southamerican tour dates are being concreted."

"Formed in July 2006 as Royal Pigs by Patrik, Rubbe and Kapten. A singer, Erik, was found in June 2008 and the songs began to take shape. In October the name was changed to Assaultery and in December the same year the first demo was recorded. Five tracks was recorded in studio Slowbeat in Gävle. In the beginning of 2009 a bass player, Adde, was added to the squad. The demo entitled "Life denied" was made available in April 2009. A handfull of concerts followed the same year. 2010 started off in the Overlook studio in Gävle where the second demo "Between worlds" was recorded. It was released in April 2010. Due to a knife incident the live gigs had to be cancelled this year but the band begun to rehearse again at the end of 2010. In Febuary 2011 the song Between Worlds was featured on a compilation cd released for the magazine Close-Up. And in July the song Cold Steel was included on the Necrolust sampler vol 3 that comes with Metal Hammer. At the end of 2011 our third creation, "III", was released. Once again we recorded in studio Overlook. "

"Abacination traces its roots back to May of 2010 when two founding members discovered a common interest in trying to create a unique mix of black and death metal, with an emphasis on the later. What ensued was a long process of composition and work to convert this idea into a fully functioning band. By early 2011 the band was a full five piece and work was started on a DIY demo to showcase the fruits of the work done in the earliest period of this collaboration.

Demo II has been released as of June 2012. The band will continue to work towards a full length release and seek live shows."

Biography

"Hailing from the central region of Portugal, Terror Empire was formed in 2009 and displays a furious and calculated brand of thrash metal.

It all started when Against – the former band of Ricardo Martins (vocals), Rui Alexandre (guitar) and Rui Puga (bass) – came to an end. Unconvinced that their musical path had ended with it, they got in touch with drummer Gonçalo Marques and guitarist player Sérgio Alves (who had previously played in cover bands) and in a matter of a few months they already had written several songs for the new project.

The name "Terror Empire" represents an omnipresent reality that has been exposed worldwide since the 9/11 attacks. Since then, there has been an official and paranoid propaganda in order to stifle and deprive all human beings from their individual rights, so they can be subdued to the ubiquous feeling of terror.

The band's main focus has always been to produce a traditional "thrash metal sound" with traces of what has been part of the modern metal sound, such as odd time signatures, breakdowns and a bit of groove.

Since 2009, they have already shared the stage with established outfits such as Pitch Black, Switchtense, Seven Stitches, Angriff or R.D.B., as well as promising newcomers and promising acts like Tales for the Unspoken, Dark Oath, Gatos Pingados and Ventas de Exterco.

Terror Empire will release their debut effort “Face the Terror” in June 2012, a six-song album in which they dwell on the subjects of the new world order and corrupt societies.

The recording process took place at the GMP Recording Studios (www.gmprecordingstudios.com) from December 2011 to April 2012. Production was carried out by Rui Alexandre, and sound engineer Miguel Seco (Napalm Death, Robert Plant, Blaze Bailey, among others) was in charge of the mixing and mastering process.

The cover artwork was created by designer Márcia Gaudêncio (www.marciagaudencio.com), who perfectly put to practice the whole concept idealized by the band.

"Alhazred is a four piece progressive death metal band hailing from Baltimore, MD!

Formed under band members Chris and David, looking to play death metal with progressive, black and melodic death metal influences.

James shortly came in to fill the drum spot and not too long after that Josh filled in on bass, and thus, Alhazred had formed.

The band name Alhazred was thought of by David, but not our first choice of band names. It was the fact that we enjoyed H.P. Lovecraft, although, none of our songs are based off of Lovecraftian lore.

Getting out in the scene, Alhazred played their first show on December 7th 2011, with Obscura & Abysmal Dawn. Alhazred have played shows almost monthly or bi-monthly since then, and are currently playing and booking more shows.

Abhorrent Castigation consists of two members, Thorso (25) and Al (20). Thorso who plays the guitar and does the drum programming has been in several bands before he first came in contact with Al. Around the turn of the year the descision was made to start a Brutal Death project together. The early self-made logo by Thorso was replaced by a logo by Steve Crow.
THe demo 'Enthralled by Abysmal Delusion' was recorded in February 2012, consisting of four tracks including a cover version of Cerebral Effusion's 'Into Morbid Obesity'. The lyrics on it are anti-religious and philosophical. On February 29th, the demo was released on several big sharing platforms for brutal music on the internet and on Abhorrent Castigation's facebook page. Shortly after the demo was available for purchase as a CD. In April 2012 the band signed to the US Brutal Death label New Standard Elite, which is run by Daniel Osborn. Also, the bass player Anton Zhikharev was added to the line up for the album on bass. The future will be releasing a full-lenght on New Standard Elite probably and hopefully in the course of 2012.

In February of 2009, Dennis John Glinski founded the band GRAVE DESCENT by responding to a deep desire to recreate the old-school death/thrash sound, that was ever so popular many years ago. The band has gone through some line-up changes in a quest to find the proper members who were dedicated to the old-school metal sound. Enter long time friend and band mate, Rich Ziegler on bass. In September of 2009, GRAVE DESCENT became a full band and in January 2010, a 3-song demo entitled The Resurrection, was recorded. The demo didn't quite capture the true sound of Grave Descent and in the following months, GRAVE DESCENT went through some additional member changes to refine their sound and direction. Finally in August 2010, a complete true line-up was achieved, with the addition of 2nd guitarist, Jack Owen (of Deicide, Cannibal Corpse). The guys in the band had known Jack from back in the Buffalo metal days, it only seemed right for him to jump on board. In November of 2010, the first live gig was performed and was a huge success as GRAVE DESCENT opened for national acts Cannibal Corpse and Dying Fetus. In January 2011, the band entered the studio and recorded a very strong 5-song EP that is presently being shopped to major labels along with minimal local distribution. They have several upcoming shows that are solidified and are busy writing new material that guarantees to impress even the toughest critics. In March 2011, Jack left to dedicate full time to Deicide and moved back to Florida. Adam Zebrowski joined as 2nd guitarist and Grave Descent has moved forward creating Brutal Death Metal. Hailing from Buffalo NY, GRAVE DESCENT, combines horrific lyrics with a massacre of old school riffs, killer solos, tempo changes, death, thrash and doom to bring forth their brutal sound. The band has managed to capture the sound of classic death/thrash metal while adding a modern touch to the music along with crystal clean production values and superb musicianship.
