BIOGRAPHY"The idea for this band started in august 2010, Founded by shane & matt both looking to form a band with one idea in mind.. To create our own style of extreme music and to be true to ourselves with no bullsh*t!
The band eventually found more members and flew under the name "36 Headshot", but due to personal issues saw matt part ways with the band at the time.
After only a couple months in, Crac
ks emerged in the lineup & shane also parted ways with "36 Headshot".
Matt and Shane picked up the writing process once again as a duo, After writing an arsenal of music the duo came across drummer scotty belmont ( EX-CLOSED CASKET) in early-mid 2011 aswell as another guitarist.
We began practising once again, however as quickly as the inferno arose it was extinguished, With our drummer having to leave due to moving And our second guitarist due to musical differences.
"Awoken by death" was born.. Driven by the anger & determination of this duo not to back down, they started the writing process releasing there 2 track self titled demo in mid-late 2011 which featured "A Wretched Disgust" & "A Promise Of Violence".
Towards the end of 2011 Writing / Recording began for there 5 Track EP "A Wretched Disgust" including new re-recorded versions of "A Wretched Disgust" & "A Promise Of Violence".
The band are currently getting ready to release there EP independently early 2012, They are also looking for a stable lineup to take this brutal assualt to the stage.
